At Villamarina, every service is designed to offer an authentic experience in harmony with the surrounding landscape.
From our homemade breakfast to experiences between sea, countryside and important archaeological sites, as well as thoughtful touches dedicated to our guests’ comfort, everything is designed to accompany your stay with discretion and quality, in full harmony with the spirit of our agriturismo.
Homemade Breakfast
At Villamarina, mornings are filled with the aroma of freshly baked cakes and coffee.
In the main house, breakfast is prepared using genuine ingredients and inspired by local tradition.
The selection is entirely dedicated to sweet breakfast options: homemade cakes, fragrant biscuits, traditional specialties, local jams, fresh seasonal fruit, yogurt and toasted bread.
Coffee and cappuccino are served at the table, while the rest is offered as a buffet, allowing guests to choose freely and enjoy breakfast at their own pace.
Breakfast can be enjoyed in the indoor dining room or at the outdoor tables, accompanied by the soft morning light and the peaceful atmosphere of the countryside.
The Harvest Experience
Between the end of summer and the beginning of autumn, guests who wish can take part in one of the most meaningful moments of rural life: the grape harvest.
Among the vineyard rows surrounding Villamarina, harvesting grapes becomes an opportunity to connect with the land, understand its rhythms and take part in an ancient tradition.
Hands among ripe grape clusters, intense aromas and stories connected to vineyard life create a truly authentic and engaging experience.
The activity is organized by reservation. Information and the necessary equipment are provided to each participant so the experience can be enjoyed easily and safely.
At the end, as tradition suggests, everyone gathers for a convivial moment with local dishes and good wine, celebrating the harvest and sharing the flavors of the region.
Excursions and Exploring the Territory
While staying at Villamarina, guests can discover Gallura through guided excursions and organized activities, designed for those who wish to explore these places with people who know them deeply.
Nature walks, routes through history and unique landscapes, and excursions that reveal the authentic character of this territory.
Guests can visit the Nuraghe Majori in Tempio Pausania, the Lu Brandali archaeological site, or the Torre Longonsardo in Santa Teresa Gallura.
Seaside villages such as Castelsardo, home to the Doria Castle and the Mediterranean Weaving Museum; inland, the village of Aggius, where it is possible to visit the Oliva Carta Cannas Museum, the largest ethnographic museum exhibition in Sardinia, and the Museum of Banditry.
All activities can be booked through Villamarina. Guests travel independently to the destinations and availability depends on the external operators.
Boat Excursions and Sport Fishing
From the port of Santa Teresa Gallura it is possible to join boat or dinghy excursions to some of the most beautiful areas of northern Sardinia.
Routes explore three extraordinary destinations: the La Maddalena Archipelago, famous for its islands and crystal-clear waters; the Corsican Archipelago, with bright cliffs and wild coves; and the Capo Testa – Punta Falcone Marine Protected Area, where wind-shaped granite meets a deep, transparent sea.
For those looking for a different experience, it is also possible to enjoy sport fishing in the Strait of Bonifacio, accompanied by an experienced and certified guide.
Upon request, sunset aperitifs or dinners on board can also be arranged, offering a unique way to enjoy the sea in an intimate and panoramic setting.
